Welcome to the 34th ENIRDELM International Conference 2026
Educational Leadership and Management for Safety
The conference will take place on September 24th – 27th, 2026 at the
Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland

About the conference

The conference theme is driven by the growing challenges that schools, educational institutions and systems worldwide face. These challenges, including natural hazards, climate change, environmental degradation, political instability, war, conflicts and economic downturns, are not confined to a specific region but have a global impact. They have affected the safety of students and staff in schools both physical and psychological.

School leaders play a crucial role in creating environments that foster academic success while addressing the psychological impacts of crises. Their efforts in promoting a culture of safety and support within the school community are invaluable and integral to the education system.

The  conference on Educational Leadership and Management for Safety  will address the urgent need to develop school culture focused on safety in all aspects.

The conference aims to provide educators with the scientific tools, evidence-based strategies, and theoretical insights to foster adaptive, inclusive, and sustainable learning environments. The primary focus will be on the role of school leaders in enhancing institutional safety, particularly in the face of multiface crises and rapid change. It will showcase global research and practices where successful safety-building approaches have been implemented, offering a platform for exchanging knowledge between researchers, school leaders, and policymakers.
