Prof. Stanis\u0142awa \u0141ojasiewicza 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Faculty is well communicated with the city center by tram lines 18 and 52, nearest stop is Norymberska.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ABOUT KRAK\u00d3W<\/strong><br><br><strong>Cracow ( Krak\u00f3w) <\/strong>is second biggest city in Poland Krak\u00f3w&nbsp; is Poland\u2019s former royal capital and one of its oldest cities. Famous for surviving World War II physically unscathed, its stunning Old Town\u2014complete with the towering Wawel Castle and Europe&#8217;s largest medieval market square\u2014is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Academic centre with several universities with Jagiellonian University as the biggest and oldest ( est. 1364). Today, the city beautifully balances a thousand years of history with a dynamic, modern academic and cultural life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Main Square (Rynek G\u0142\u00f3wny):<\/strong> A massive 13th-century plaza packed with atmospheric cafes, street performers, and the stunning St. Mary&#8217;s Basilica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wawel Hill:<\/strong> The historical and political heart of Poland, featuring the Royal Castle and Cathedral where Polish monarchs were crowned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Kazimierz:<\/strong> The historic Jewish Quarter, where Shindler\u2019s List movie was made, known today for its vibrant nightlife, art galleries, and rich cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nearby Landmarks:<\/strong> The city serves as a gateway to both the underground tunnels of the Wieliczka Salt Mine and the moving Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>GETTING TO AND IN &nbsp;Krak\u00f3w<\/strong><br><br><strong>By Air<\/strong><br>Cracow Balice Airport &nbsp;offers numerous flights from European and other cities. A train connects airport with the city Main Railway Station which is close to city center (old town). One-way far is approx. 16 PLN ( 4 euro). It runs every half an hour, journey takes less than 30 minutes.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Public transport in Krak\u00f3w<\/strong><br><br>Public transport is very good in Krak\u00f3w. Trams numer 18 and 52 take you from the city center where most hotels are to University Campus where the conference will take place.
